Alisa has over 10 years of mental health experience working with children, adolescents, their families and caregivers. She has specialist training that has prepared her to work with young people presenting with a range of issues across childhood, adolescence and adulthood.
Having worked in various mental health settings, Alisa has extensive experience providing support to young people living with their families, as well as out-of-home care.
Alisa is very passionate about providing a warm and safe therapeutic space to help individuals and their families improve their day-to-day functioning, as well as learn more adaptive ways to respond to life's stressors.
Alisa is available to provide supervision to provisional psychologists seeking to gain general registration with AHPRA, registered psychologists; as well as primary or secondary supervision to registrars seeking to gain Educational or Developmental endorsement.
Services
Alisa has a warm and holistic approach to therapy, drawing from a range of evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mentalization Based Therapy (MBT) and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP). Alisa also provides attachment-based parenting support to parents and caregivers of children and teenagers presenting with anxiety, attachment or behavioural difficulties.

Fees
A referral from a GP is not needed to make an appointment. However, if you would like to claim mental health services under the Medicare Better Access Program, you will need to organise a consult with your GP about a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP).
Initial consultation - $220. Gap fee of $121.05 after Medicare rebate of $98.95
Subsequent session - $200. Gap fee of $101.05 after Medicare rebate of $98.95
At the end of your appointment, you will be invoiced the full session fee. At the same time, your Medicare rebate can be claimed and Medicare will deposit the rebate into your nominated bank account. Please note that cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will incur a charge of 50% of the session fee. Unfortunately, a rebate is not available for cancellation or no-show fees.
